Household Hazardous Waste
Do You Have These

These products and others are considered household hazardous waste and are not allowed in your regular trash. In fact, the law prohibits putting liquids or hazardous material, such as, motor oil, paint, solvents, and chemicals in your trash.

Hours: 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Tuesday through Saturday (except rainy days). Closed on Monday.

COLLECTION CENTERS

at Gate 6 of Rainbow Disposal


Collection centers are closed on:
Rainy days, Christmas, Independence Day, Memorial Day, New Years Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day.

Household hazardous waste is not accepted from:
Businesses, schools, government agencies, churches, or non-profit organizations.

Hazardous Waste must be in its original container:
Except motor oil and antifreeze.

Disposal of Expired and Unused Medication
Most medicines used in a home are not considered hazardous waste. Although the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center will accept medications, they can also be disposed of in the trash after being secured in durable packaging.   • Compact Fluorescent Lamps (Curly Bulbs), Fluorescent, neon, HD, mercury light bulbs
  • Household batteries
  • Radios, clocks, hair dryers
  • Cell phones & circuit boards
  • TV sets
  • E-Waste (computer monitors, printers, etc.)
  • Household cleaners & chemical solvents
  • Thermometers (mercury)
  • Hobby & pool supplies
  • Pesticides & herbicides
  • Thermostats
  • Empty compressed gas cylinders
  • Wood preservatives

Stop & Swap
Visit the Stop and Swap! The Stop and Swap is a unique and free program that allows you to drop off household, yard, and car care products you no longer need and pick up others you can use. The Stop and Swap shares the same hours and is located at the Household Hazardous Waste Center.
