Please do not place the following NON-RECYCLABLES into the blue cart:
Contaminated or soiled paper; clothing; window or auto glass, fluorescent lights; electronics, packing peanuts, and hazardous materials
such as batteries, pesticides, and paints. Also, no plastic tarps, plastic hoses, vacuum bags, or styrofoam.

Must be taken to the O.C. Collection Center, 17121 Nichols St. (between Gothard & Beach Blvd.) in Huntington Beach. Open Tues. through Sat. 9am to 3pm (except rainy days). Closed on Monday. Enter through Gate 6.

Plastic: All plastics numbered 1-7. All colors. Flatten milk & water bottles (optional). All plastic bags.

Cardboard: Break down & flatten. Remove leftover food & remove plastic wrappers from cartons.

Glass Bottles:All glass bottles. All colors.
|
 |
|
Cans: All aluminum, tin, metal & bi-metal cans. Remove plastic can rings.

Paper: All clean & dry paper. Chipboard. Cereal & food boxes. Newspaper (CLEAN & DRY ONLY). Shoe/clothes/gift boxes. Magazines & catalogs, junk mail, envelopes & office paper (no carbon paper). Paper bags & tubes; phone books.

Do Not Include: Food contaminated cardboard or paper (fast-food packaging); partially-full aerosol cans or other containers; rubber products; toys with electronics; wet, waxed or soiled paper or cardboard; bathroom waste; full or unopened food containers; ceramics, mugs, dishes, mirrors, light bulbs or Pyrex; Styrofoam, paint waste; animal waste.
