Rainbow Proposes Modernization of Trash Collection in Fountain Valley |
| Rainbow Disposal is proud to provide residential trash service to Fountain Valley residents. While Fountain Valley residents enjoy unlimited service, please comply with the following regulations: | ||
| You may put out any number of legal size trash containers (maximum size - 32 gallons) or bags
and be assured that Rainbow Disposal will empty or remove them on trash day. Trash cans larger than 32 gallons may not be picked up.
Trash should be placed at curbside by 6:00 a.m. on the day of pickup. Rainbow has a manual collection system. A person actually picks up and empties the container. This is why Fountain Valley has adopted an ordinance pertaining to residential trash collection. The law states that trash containers for single family residences shall: |

What Can I Do With This? (from tree trimmings to used oil) |
| For information from the HB Fire Department regarding Propane Cylinders - click here. Tree trimmings and other similar matter should be tied in bundles measuring no more than 4 feet and weighing no more than 60 lbs. |
| The law prohibits putting liquids or hazardous materials, such as paint, oil, solvents, chemicals or tires in your trash. Visit the Household Hazardous Waste page for information regarding disposal of these items. Sod, manure, lumber, concrete or construction debris may not be included in trash.
